Transfers to and from other institutions

Moving money into Market USA or from Market USA to another financial institution is easy.

• Simply enroll in Online Banking or download our mobile app. Once you're logged in, select "Transfers & Send Money" and then "External Transfers" to set up an external account at another financial institution.
• This can be used to easily pay your Market USA loan(s) from funds at another financial institution.
• The transfer can be set up to be recurring. Transfers are limited to $5,000 per day and $15,000 per month.
• There will be a 3-day hold on incoming funds transferred from other financial institutions.

Set up recurring transfers

Accelerate your savings progress or make automatic loan payments by scheduling the same fund transfer on a weekly or monthly basis. It's just one less thing for you to worry about.

• Log into Online Banking, select "Transfers & Send Money" and then "Make a Transfer."
• After selecting the accounts for the transfer and the amount, select "Repeating Transfer."

It's easy to move money on a one-time basis to beef up your savings balance or refill your checking funds.

• Enroll in Online Banking or download our mobile app
• Once logged in, select "Transfers & Send Money" and then "Make a Transfer"

Wire transfers

Wire transfers are a secure and convenient way to send and receive money via your Market USA savings, checking or Money Market account. They're often used to make large payments, send or receive international payments or move money between business partners or vendors and suppliers.

• To request a wire transfer, contact Member Services at 301-586-3400 or fill out a Wire Transfer Request form and drop it off at a branch.
• Domestic Wire Transfer Request. Outgoing domestic wire transfers submitted by 2:30 p.m. on a business day will be processed the same day.
• International Wire Transfer Request. Outgoing international wire transfers submitted by 11:30 a.m. on a business day will be processed the same day.
• Fees for outgoing wire transfers are $15 domestic and $35 international.

For wires coming into your Market USA account, you will need to provide the following:

Incoming International Wire Transfers

There are two ways you can receive international wire transfers:

Option 1: Send the request through a large U.S. bank with a global network. You will need to provide Market USA's routing number (255077493) and your account information. The large bank can use its own U.S. bank intermediary to transfer funds from international to their U.S. counterpart.

Option 2: Incoming international wires requiring a SWIFT address can be received through our partner institution, Vizo Financial, and The Bank of New York Mellon. The funds should be sent in U.S. dollars only. Please provide the following information to the originating institution.
