Help Bring Thanksgiving to Every Table

We Need Your Help!

For the 4th consecutive year, our Laurel branch is hosting a food drive for Elizabeth House, Fish of Laurel, Inc., an all-volunteer food pantry and soup kitchen that supports the greater Laurel community. Please join us in helping those in need by dropping off canned and non-perishable items at our Laurel Branch located at 8871 Gorman Rd, Suite 100, Laurel, MD 20723.

Please consider donating any of the items listed below:

  • Cereal
  • Condensed Soup (esp chicken noodle, tomoto, vegetable
  • Canned Frut (in Fruit Juice)
  • Dry pasta
  • Ready to serve soup (similar to Progresso and Chunky)
  • Masa harina
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Diced or crushed tomatoes
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned beans
  • Peanut butter
  • Cornbread mix
  • Dry beans (1 or 2 lb bags)
  • Jelly or jam
  • Cooking oil
  • Rice (1 ot 2 lb bags)
  • Canned veggies (corn, green beans, peas, mixed veggies and carrots)
  • Sugar
  • Apple juice
  • Canned meat (chili, chicken, beef stew)
  • Cases of bottled water
  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Pasta sauce
  

 

We will be delivering donations during the week of Thanksgiving. Your donation will help get meals to children, seniors and families in our community who are struggling with hunger and food insecurity.
